In "real life", I'm the a small business owner, with a successful company just outside Vancouver, BC., home of the 2010 Olympics. "I believe proft is not a 4 letter word!", "Work with your brain not your back" and "What goes around comes around".
I am approaching my 51st year of life, have been married for over 26 years (Darcy, sharing above pic), have two full grown kids, 24 and 21 years old. My 24 year old daughter is getting married Sept/08 and my son is pursuing a career as a chef.
We have lived in the community of Cloverdale for 20+ years, born and raised on the 'WET' Coast of BC and loving every minute of it! You can wind surf in the morning, bike all day and then snow ski till 10pm on your choice of 3 local mountains, just minutes from downtown Vancouver.
Pretty active for an 'old guy', oh yea, I also have active Crohn's, had it since I was 14. Nine (9) major operations, allergic to almost everything!
I'm Scotish, Crohn's just pissed me off.
I had to prove that one sick guy could have a positive influence on as many people as possible.

Hi Gus,

My name's John and I thought I'd stop by and introduce myself and give a belated "Welcome to Wowzza!" I figure everybody's first few days on Wowzza are spent just getting to know the system and the differences between WowzzaPower and Wowzza the Business Social Network and it could tend to be a bit overwhelming.

I hope you've been able to settle in by now and make good use of some of the fantastic resources here and take advantage of all the features. Speaking of which, make sure you submit some kind of entry in the Classifieds section. As we all know, every bit of exposure you can get will help in the long run. Again, speaking of 'exposure', I'm not sure how many people know this yet, but if you plan on putting any more work into your profile here, make sure you use some good key words that are associated with your business. This is important because I just found out during my regular marketing maintenance for our site that Google is indexing Wowzza profile pages! For a membership based site, that's very good news. Exposure, exposure, exposure!

So, to continue my introduction briefly; I live and work in San Diego where I create dollar bill drop cards, sizzle cards, and/or business cards for any business or opportunity. Our fully customizable $5, 10, 20 and 100 dollar bills are fantastic attention grabbers and are 4-6 times more effective than traditional business cards. Obviously, I could go on and on, but that's what our profiles are for, right?

I had not heard of Crohn's until a few years ago......now it seems to affect a lot of people. I also know many people who have reversed their symptoms. If we can be of any help, please contact us.
