Working from home is now is a very rewarding experience. It was not always so. Lots of trial and error, money spent and long hours of research and training. I was determined to live my dream.

The book I am writing outlines my struggle with ending the cycle of abusive relationships. How I became empowered with self respect, set my goals and the drive to reach them.

Almost 19 years ago I met the love of my life, James, our marriage is beautiful, he supports me in all I do. Loving my family as if they were his own is one of his most endearing qualities.

I love helping others and each day of my life I make an effort to help at least one person. My mother has told me from a very young age that I could not save the world but I always told her maybe not but I can do my part.

Now embarking on new adventures does not have to be scary as I know I have the perseverance to see it through no matter how big the obstacles.

I am very active in my community getting my shelter open for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.



Writing my book has been by far my hardest challenge. Though I love to write when it comes to my book I am a very hard critic to myself. It is also very personal and writing it is reliving it and that is very hard at times. I hope to have it finished this year but with all that I am involved with it will most likely be next year.
